CEO of Neutral Fuels is Announced “2018 Gamechanger of the Year” in Global Awards
Neutral Fuels also wins ‘2018 Company of the year (diversity energy sources)’, and ‘2018 Sustainable company of the year."‘
Founder and Chairman of The Neutral Group, Karl W. Feilder has won the title of ‘Gamechanger of The Year’ in the ACQ5 Global Awards 2018, and the group’s subsidiary, Neutral Fuels, bagged ‘Company of the year (diversity energy sources)’ and ‘Sustainable company of the year.’
Guided by the poll’s results, Karl received the award out of an incredible 98,621 nominations from around the world, which ACQ5 said was its “highest ever.”
This award is the latest reinforcement of Karl Feilder’s increasing global recognition as he has previously built five companies to exit via trade sale, and taken two more to their Initial Public Offering (IPO). Karl is now preparing Neutral Fuels LLC, a company that produces bio-fuel from used cooking oil, for an IPO on the London AIM stock market for 2023, and is building Neutral Assets LLC into an “Internet of Things” asset management company.
Karl’s direct efforts to mitigate climate change have resulted in over 10 million tons of CO2e savings from large corporations, such as DHL, Del Monte, Anglo American, and McDonald’s.
More recently, Karl has partnered with the government of Ras Al Khaimah, as he has created and is implementing a highly innovative strategy to turn human waste into reusable energy.
In 2010, Neutral Fuels pioneered commercial biofuel production in the Middle East when it commissioned the UAE’s first licensed biorefinery in Dubai. The company quickly became the Middle East’s first commercial producer and seller of bio-fuel converted from used cooking oil to run large fleets. Using bio-fuel made from used cooking oil reduces the creation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere by over 95% compared to petro-diesel.
Karl Feilder, Founder and CEO of The Neutral Group, commented: “I am honoured that we have been recognised for our uncompromising commitment and efforts to save the planet. I want to thank my team and partners worldwide, and everyone who has supported us on our journey, as we celebrate the success and recognition from this global forum.”
He added: “In November 2015, the Dubai government announced the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy to produce 75 per cent of its energy requirements from clean sources by 2050, and with 20% of the country’s carbon footprint coming from transportation, we are proud to be contributing towards Dubai’s, and our children’s, sustainable future.”
